Ronnie Shaw was born
and raised in Inverness, was taught piano at the age of
6 by well known teacher Jean Wilkinson and by 12 he was
playing regularly in clubs. He has since mastered not
only the piano and keyboards but is a renowned
accordionist and guitarist having played not only
throughout the Highlands but worldwide on various
cruise-ships, he can still be seen playing for visiting
cruise ships at Invergordon.
For the past 20 years
Ronnie Shaw has been the Musical Director for the
Inverness & Area Gang Show - a production being put on
in Eden Court Theatre every 2 years, working and
directing the huge cast.
Ronnie Plays the
Highland circuit for Hotels, Weddings, Private and
Corporate Functions with music across the boards ranging
from jazz to Ceildh, Dance, Ballroom, Sequence and a mix
of 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's he can cater for all needs
whether you require a pianist, one man entertainer, up to a 12
piece band. Ronnie is also skilled in the
writing/recording and production of all types of music. |
